海も空もどこまでも広がった青で似ていると感じ、どちらにもとれる作品を描けるのではないかと感じて描いた作品です。

砂のグラデーションで色味を表現しています。

はじめてこの作品を見た人はどちらに見えるのか、鑑賞者の捉え方で見方が変わる作品です。

I painted this work because I felt that both the ocean and the sky are similar in their endlessly expanding blue, and I felt that I could paint a work that could be taken either way.
