青いバラシリーズの作品です。

青い薔薇は自然界に存在しない花で、そのため、青い薔薇の花言葉は「不可能」「存在しないもの」というネガティブなものでした。

ところが2002年、遺伝子の組み換えに成功し、ついに世界で初の青い薔薇が誕生したことで、青い薔薇の花言葉は「不可能」から「夢は叶う」に変わりました。

そんな不可能を可能に変えた青い薔薇が好きで描いています。

またペガサスはよく描きますが、私が描くペガサスはいろんな人の想いを抱えて飛んでいます。

なかなか言い出せない想いものせて届けてほしいと願っています。

前回描いた青いバラシリーズの第1作の「青い薔薇」では薔薇の表現が砂で難しく、絵の具で描いていますが、今作はより研究を重ね、青い薔薇を砂で表現することに成功いたしました。

雪が降るのと同じように「夢は叶う」、そんな希望をのせて今、「奇跡」「夢」をペガサスが振りまいています。
